Instructions for deleting your data from LaunchMap AI

What Data We Store

When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account to LaunchMap AI, we store:

  • Your basic profile information (name, profile picture)
  • Connected page/account IDs
  • Access tokens (encrypted) for publishing
  • Content you create and publish through our platform

We do NOT store your Facebook/Instagram passwords.

How to Delete Your Data

Option 1: Disconnect from LaunchMap AI

  1. Log in to your LaunchMap AI account
  2. Go to Settings → My Socials
  3. Toggle off the connected Instagram/Facebook account
  4. Your social media data will be immediately removed

Option 2: Delete Your Account

  1. Log in to your LaunchMap AI account
  2. Go to Settings → Account
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days

Option 3: Email Request

Send an email to request data deletion:

support@launchmapai.com

Please include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line and provide the email address associated with your account.

Deletion Timeline

  • Immediate: Access tokens are revoked and your social media connection is removed
  • Within 24 hours: Your social media profile data is deleted from our systems
  • Within 30 days: All associated content and data is permanently deleted

Note: Posts you published to your social media accounts through LaunchMap AI will remain on those platforms. We do not have the ability to delete content from your Facebook or Instagram accounts.

Once your data deletion request is processed, you will receive a confirmation email at the address associated with your account.
